COVID-19 STATEMENT
The Medina County Art League wants everyone to be safe during our event. Because of this, we are strictly adhering to State and Local Guidelines and ordinances regarding COVID-19. Measures are being put into place to keep this event safe and keep everyone healthy. Signage, hand sanitizing stations, traffic flow, and additional booth spacing have been implemented this year to keep us safe. We strongly encourage vendors and visitors to adhere to social distancing requirements. However, given that the COVID-19 situation is fluid, the Medina County Art League reserves the right to modify or cancel the show should additional restrictions be called for by State and Local government. Should the show be canceled all vendor fees will be reimbursed in full.
CALL FOR FINE ART VENDORS
The Medina County Art League cordially invites you to participate in the 47th Annual Art in the Park fine art show. The show is set in Medina’s charming Court House Square. Artist exhibits are arranged around the park's gazebo, the focus of the historic Public Square area.
Eligibility and Jurying
A jury comprised of practicing artists, art teachers, and committee members will judge original artwork of professional quality in any medium for acceptance. No molds, kits, or commercial products will be permitted. Accepted artists are expected to properly label all commercially produced reproductions. The jury requires that no more than 25% of artists' display include such reproductions. An on-site jury committee will tour the show to determine artists' compliance with eligibility requirements. Those that do not comply will be asked to leave. ALL JURY DECISIONS ARE FINAL.
Exhibit Spaces and Fees
Approximately 80 artist exhibit spaces are available this year due to COVID restrictions. Standard spaces are 10' x 10' deep, allowing ample space between booths. A limited number of double spaces are available. GENERATORS, STAKES, OR GROUND COVER ARE NOT PERMITTED! Single Space = $150, Double Space = $300. New this year: Due to the late nature of the application process, your Booth Fees will be paid through your artcall.org account during the application process. Should an artist be juried out of the show or if the show is canceled all fees will be refunded in full.
Artist Responsibility
The artist is required to be on-site throughout the hours of the show. No dealers or agents are permitted. Artists are responsible for setting up their display with appropriate weather protection, keeping space free of clutter, and may not start to tear down prior to 5 pm. We strictly enforce booth tear down! Sales tax is the artist's responsibility. The current Medina County sales tax is 6.75%. Sales tax rates are available at www.taxes.ohio.gov, select Ohio Taxes, Sales & Use, and then Tax Rates and Changes. New this year: All artists will be responsible for having hand sanitizer available for customers in their booth. All artists are required to sanitize surfaces in between customers.
